Naming Our Names

What do our names stand for? What characteristics and strengths make us unique? This project is utilized already in many classrooms and a great icebreaker/ reflection. 

List of Materials Needed: 

- Paper

- Markers, colored pencils

- Pencil and Eraser

- Other decorative items

Instructions:

1. Introduce the activity. Tell the students that each of their names is special to them, just like their characteristics, personality, and strengths.

2. Write each letter of their names on each row, listing them vertically down the line. 

3. Have them reflect and write something that starts with each letter about themselves. 

4. Optional: have them write about other people in their lives.
